Doughnut recipe & instructions Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour.
- ¾ cup sugar.
- 2 tsp. baking powder.
- ¾ cup milk.
- 1 tsp. salt.
- 2 eggs (beaten).
- 1 tsp. vanilla.
- 1 tbsp. melted.
- Cooking margarine.
- Vegetable oil.
- Cinnamon sugar.
Method:
- Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Add melted cooking margarine, eggs, vanilla and milk.
- Beat until it forms a smooth mixture.
- Fill a deep fryer or pan with vegetable oil and heat to 190C.
- Coat the inside of the doughnut maker lightly with vegetable oil and fill with batter.
- Holding the doughnut maker with your fingers, press the knob with your thumb, then release quickly.
- Repeat the 'press and release' process to make the required amount of doughnuts.
- Cook for 1 minute each side until golden brown.
- Drain doughnuts on paper towel to remove any excess oil.
- Serve doughnuts hot, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and enjoy!
